Cambridge, MA - edX is pleased to announce that we are a launch partner for Meta's investment to create an ecosystem of learning around the metaverse, including training the next generation of creators, building immersive learning content, and increasing access to devices.
Announced at Connect 2021 developer conference, edX is collaborating with Meta to become a distribution partner for Spark AR Curriculum, helping increase economic opportunities by giving broader access to tools and education to become AR and Metaverse creators.
We look forward to sharing more information regarding the content that will be available on edX.org as part of this work. We’ll continue to share updates with the edX community of learners as we further develop courses and programs. Stay tuned!
