Google Cloud Launches New AI and Cloud Programs on edX
New courses give learners and organizations direct access to official Google Cloud training in cloud computing and AI.
Twelve new Google Cloud courses in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and generative AI are now available on edX, part of a continued expansion of the partnership. Delivered through Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise Agent Ready (GEAR) program, the courses give edX's global community of more than 100 million learners and its enterprise customers direct access to official Google Cloud training.
Google Cloud's catalog on edX now runs to more than 100 courses and professional certificate programs, with over 30 launched in the past month alone. The 12 GEAR courses announced today add learning tracks including Google Cloud Digital Leader, Google Workspace with Gemini, Google Cloud Generative AI Leader, and Google Associate Cloud Engineer. All are self-paced and built for both technical and nontechnical learners, combining hands-on work with industry-recognized credentials.
"As organizations move from experimenting with AI to deploying it across their businesses, they need people who understand not just AI applications, but the cloud platforms that power them," said Andy Morgan, chief partnerships officer at 2U, the company behind edX "By expanding Google Cloud's official training on edX, we're making it easier for learners and organizations to build practical, job-relevant skills directly from one of the companies shaping how AI is being developed and deployed today."
The new Google Cloud courses are available to individual learners through edX.org and to organizations through edX's Enterprise Catalog, enabling companies to incorporate trusted Google Cloud training into broader AI and cloud upskilling initiatives.
